MY SUMMER DIARY: Returning home

Yesterday we returned home after six wonderful days. We woke up at six o'clock and after leave the car, we went to board. Then we bought different souvenirs for the close family and friends.
At two o'clock we arrived at Barcelona's airport and after pick up our car, we've stopped for lunch at a service area. Then we did a deviation for go to Palamós to buy prawns and fish for dinner.
Finally, we arrived at home at seven o'clock.

MY SUMMER DIARY: Visiting a volcano in Tenerife

The fourth day in Tenerife we went to the Teide's volcano. Very early in the morning we started climbing by car the mountain. We couldn't go at the top because we should request permission before go. After we went to visit the rocks that before were showed in a hundred old spanish money.
In the afternoon we went to visit little villages in a very narrow and curved street where almost bump.
At eight o'clock we went to see the sunset on the beach.

MY SUMMER DIARY: Another day in Tenerife

Other day I was in Tenerife I went to Loro Parque. It is the better zoo in Europe and the second in the world. There I could see a lot of aquatic animals and birds but mammals and reptiles too. I spent all the morning and afternoon there and after I went to salty swimming pools called Lagos de Martiànez.

MY SUMMER DIARY: First day in Tenerife

The third of September my parents and I went on holidays in Canary Islands. 

We woke up at 2:30 a.p. for go by car to Barcelona. Then we parked the car and we went to boarding. At 6:25 a.p. the plane flew and at nine o'clock we arrived to Tenerife. Were three hours very boring; but when we caught the car, it started to be interesting. We went to visit different towns and villages. In the afternoon we went to the hotel to rest, we were very tired after a long journey.

MY SUMMER DIARY: The last day of the summer club

The last day of the summer club didn't start at nine o'clock, started at eight because we slept in the village's castle. At half past eight, we had breakfast and after we went by bike to the sports hall. 

At nine o'clock we watched a film with the little kids. Then, at half past eleven, we did the final game together. The game was throw us paint and flour with dyes. 

After, obviously we were dirty and they dip us with a hose.

Finally, we went at home very dirty because the paint didn't vanish.

MY SUMMER DIARY: Final trip in the summer club.

The penultimate day of the summer club we went walking from Palamós to Llafranc.

At 7:30 we took the bus for go to Palamós. At nine o'clock we started the trip; we crossed La Fosca, Castell's beach then we stopped for have breakfast. Then we enter the forest for cross a mountain. This part of the long trip was the most difficult because were noon, it was all uphill and we were tired. Three quarters of hour later, we arrived in El Golfet beach where we stopped for rest and have lunch. There we went swimming to a little island where we played some games and had fun. After rest, we restarted walking to Llafranc. At six o'clock we arrived in Llafranc where the bus was waiting us for return to the summer club. 

In the summer club we caught the other bag and the bike and we went to the castle of the little village for pass all the afternoon and night together. At nine o'clock we had dinner, after we played a night game and we went to sleep at two or three o'clock.

MY SUMMER DIARY: Visiting horses in the summer club

The third week of July in the summer club we did a little trip.

At nine-thirty little children caught the bus and we, the teens, took the helmet, the reflective vest and the bike  for go to the equestrian club. There were a lot of animals besides of horses that we've could see, for example rabbits, guinea pigs and different classes of birds. After saw different animals, we've could comb horses and ponies and then we rode horses. We've spend all the morning around nature and animals. At twelve and a half we returned to the sports hall of the summer club by bike.

MY SUMMER DIARY: St. John's day

This year, St. John's day was a Friday and in Catalonia the 23rd of June people don't work; so, on Friday I went to a coastal city  for be there until Sunday afternoon. On Friday morning I took my first bathe on the beach and in the evening in the swimming pool. In the evening I went fishing with my parents and in the afternoon I improved my english chatting with my appartment neighbours'. They are from Germany and they don't speak Spanish neither Catalan, they only speak Germany and a little bit of English and French; So, that's the reason why I had to speak English and I was the translator of my parents.

GUARDIOLA'S BIOGRAPHY

Pep Guardiola is a very successful football player.
He was born the 18th January on 1971 in Sanpedor, a small village in Catalonia. At the age of 13, he joined La Masia, where the bests players in the world train and live to be professional players for Barça team someday.

Six years later, he made his début with FCBarcelona. In the 1991-92 season, he became an important player in the first team. He played 479 games for the club and on 24 June 2001, he played his last match with Barça. In his career as a professional football player, he won lots of matches and trophies. For 10 years, he played seven friendly games for the national team of Catalonia.
At the age of 36, he became the coach of FCBarcelona B and one year later, he became the manager of the firs team of FCB. While he was the coach, the team won lots of trophies so he has been one of the most important coaches for the Football Club Barcelona so far.

In June 2012, he left FCBarcelona and took a sabbatical year in New York. One year later, he signed a contract with the Bayern Munich team, in Germany. Since 2013, he has been their manager and he has lived with his family in Germany.

Dear Sir,

I’m writing because there aren’t any activities or facilities for teenagers in our village. In other villages there are some places where teenagers go, like a skate park or an open football field.

I think there are some resasons for this. Firstly, you and your colleagues don’t think about us. There are a lot of parks for young people and some places like the library or the retired house for elderly people. Another reason is that you spend the money to improve construccions and not for built new buildings, so I think we need some places to go.

We must do something about this situacion. Maybe you should build a place where teens could go.  I don’t know how much it would cost but it’s for a good relationship between you and us.

ESSAY: A NARRATIVE TEXT

The most remarkable day of my Christmas holidays was the 8th of January; I went to Barcelona by train.

At seven o’clock I took the train in Girona. An hour and a half later, I arrived in the capital of Catalonia. There, first of all I went to visit a wonderful cathedral while I was having a peaceful stroll. Then I went for a walk in the “gothic area” meanwhile I was having breakfast. Later, I visited a church called Sta Maria del Mar; and after that, I had lunch in a restaurant. At three o’clock I went to FNAC and I bought some interesting books and before returning to Girona, I bought some clothes and a brown cell phone cover for my father in a mall near Catalonia Square.

Finally, I returned to Girona at six o’clock and I arrived home at eight o’clock.

ESSAY: DESCRIPTION OF A FRIEND THAT GOES TO ANOTHER SCHOOL

Elisabeth is my friend. Since 2013 she has lived in Sant Pere de Torelló, Barcelona; before that, she lived in Cornellà del Terri. She was born on 30th of September and she is in 3rd of ESO in Torelló high school. She hasn't got any pets, but she has got a brother, Eduard, and a sister, Natàlia. We are friends because in 1st fo primary we went to the same school, we met and became friends.

She is fourteen years old. She is tall and she has got big brown eyes. She has got a long, curly and dark, very dark hair. She usually wears a T-shirt, jeans and trainers. She is very cheerful, active and not very hard-working.

She really likes meeting her friends and chatting on the mobile phone. She hates doing sport. Her hobbies are singing, cooking and dancing.

She is a very good friend!
